It is finals time!

And so I have been studying like mad for the past 2 weeks. I've had some pretty tough exams to prepare for (ahem, Calculus and Chemistry), but feel like the exams I have had so far have been fairly fair. However, I have such bad study habits, so studying consist of a lot of Facebook, OMGUW, and drinking tea. Its a habit I am trying to work on...

But it is a little weird that I don't ever really feel sleep deprived during finals. I just don't function that well without by beauty sleep so I never skip it. I would not be able to hold a conversation after doing that for 2 weeks!

Anyways, what started me on thinking of this was this College Humor article on what students really mean by what they say during finals week. And they are totally true! A friend of mine totally does a variation on the "I haven't slept in 4 days"by spending her days watching tv and then studying all night.
The one I totally said was "Can I compare notes with you?". I had missed the review session and needed the notes!

So, say what you mean and mean what you say, but don't say anything mean!

Stay positive!

It's my first post!

Hi! Well, hello there! Howdy!

Welcome to my blog!

As I said in the "About Me" section, this is going to be place where I can just post cool stuff that I am interested in, or what I have been up to lately. I might post a link of a cool site I found, like this one which I used to procrastinate when I was studying for my exam. Or I might post a cupcake recipe of something I wish I could bake, but don't have a kitchen yet (13 days!). Or I might just post a photo or three of a walk I did, or somewhere I went, or pictures I have taken lately.

As for the name: I have been told a while ago that I have a tendency of being very, very negative. That startled me since I didn't know that I was really being that negative. From then on, I have tried to take on a positive mindset and outlook on things. To me, being positive is a state of mind. I try and look on the better side of things. It helps to say what things are instead of what things aren't, because that is where the disappointments lie.

So for that reason, I will try my darndest to stay positive in my posts. There is enough negativity out in the world. I don't need to contribute to that.

Anyways, hope you enjoy!

Went for a walk earlier, beautiful reflection in a puddle!
